Joseph enjoys teaching / facilitating Design Thinking workshops to individuals as well as organization. Joseph produces and hosts video programs on social media.

What 3 words would your friends use to describe you?

I asked several friends and they all give slightly different answers. So here are 3 randomly picked ones: Worldly, Trustworthy, Open-minded,

What has your ACS volunteering journey been like? What particular instances which have stood out for you (and why)?

One day I saw someone I know posting on LinkedIn about volunteering for an ACS event. It looked very engaging and meaningful, and I signed up soon after. ACS offers a unique experience, and opportunities to get to know many NGOs as well as like-minded volunteers that normally would take many events to meet. The interaction with them opened my eyes to many new perspectives. Through ACS I can learn, network, as well as offering my services to different organizations.

What advice do you have for a new ACS volunteer?

There is nothing to be gained with non-action and hesitation. If you are thinking of engaging something meaningful in your life, give this a try. Don’t be afraid that you may not be helpful if you have limited experience in certain things. Everybody would be helpful in some way. The most important part is to grow with this community. You never know what social impact you can create down the road, as well as different opportunities to be discovered.

Thank you Joseph!
