Get to Know Charities: Mind Hong Kong

Mind HK ensures everyone in Hong Kong living with a mental health problem has the recognition, support and respect they need to make the best recovery possible.

They achieve these goals by providing an online platform directing users to frontline resources and the general public in mental health literacy, and raising awareness in the community.  As can be expected, the resources provided by Mind HK has proved exceedingly popular during this season of an unsettling pandemic.

In fact, Mind HK reported as of July this year, they have had over 54,000 new users per month visiting their website, a marked increase from the past.  Mind HK is especially committed to the destigmitisation of mental health, and believes prioritising the education of youth is one of the keys to changing attitudes and perceptions. To support this objective, Mind HK recently partnered with KELY Support Group, to launch “Coolminds” a youth-targeted online mental health initiative.
