Get to Know Charities: Plastic Free Seas

Plastic Free Seas (PFS) aims to educate and change the way our society views and uses plastics through education and action campaigns. PFS works with schools, companies, and individuals to advocate for behavior change, empowering people to reduce plastic waste and participate in beach cleanups to combat the issue of plastic pollution.

COVID-19 has impacted PFS’ ability to organize regular beach cleanups and in-person education as the bulk of their work had to move online. However, as the community begins to open up again, PFS is taking the steps to resume their previous initiatives and increase their reach within local schools and the local community in Hong Kong, to continue and further their mission of keeping our seas plastic-free.
