Changing Young Lives Foundation
Mission:
Changing Young Lives Foundation is dedicated to rewriting the stories of thousands of underprivileged children and marginalized youth in Hong Kong every year by providing them with 100% FREE of charge centre-based and outreach programs in education, talent development and self-empowerment, unleashing their potential to maximize their opportunities at school and work, and inspiring them to live their lives to the fullest.
Our vision is of a world where children of all ages are protected from abuse, neglect and exploitation and kept safe at all times, where they have shelter, food, health care and education. These are the basic requirements for the sound development of all children. We see our young people, who are at risk or disadvantaged, trusting and believing in themselves and feeling good about who they are and all the great things they can do. We see them exploring and realizing their talents and abilities to the fullest, and having the self-assurance and courage to reach out for their dreams.

Top needs:
- Funding for programs/ services
Changing Young Lives Foundation Herbert and Alice Cheng Centre has commenced services in 2022 summer. Located in the redeveloped Pak Tin Estate, the 5,400 square feet new learning centre and its 11 activity rooms can provide 7,500 sessions of most needed centre-based services, benefiting over 3,000 underprivileged children aged 1 to 18 living in the Sham Shui Po area every year. We are a non-subvented organization and would like to expand services to people in need and seek funding for our services.
Impact on beneficiaries:
In 2021-2022, we provided more than 3,500 free service sessions in education and self-empowerment to over 5,000 underprivileged children and youth aged 1 to 21 in HK. Your generous support will make the event a success and, more importantly, will change the lives of many under-resourced youngsters.
