To improve the lives of the marginalized ethnic minority communities in Hong Kong by reducing sufferings and providing opportunities
Mission: The advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among young people and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness.
Beneficiaries: Infants and Children, Youth, Women, Men, Children with special education needs, Families and Community, New legal immigrant families, Impoverished Formal Non-Commercial Organization (e.g., Non-Profit, School, Foundation, Trade Association, Union, etc.), Social enterprises and other non-governmental organizations.
Top needs:
• Over 200 training programs have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has posed heavy financial burden on operation of our Ma Wan Event Centre, a whole person training bub for the youth established in July 2019.
• Invite professionals and volunteers from different sectors to provide us support such as marketing and promotion, public relations and media, management and development as well as human resources management.
• 於去年7月正式營運的馬灣兒童及青少年全人發展基地,受疫情影響服務及運作,超過200個訓練活動取消,影響超過15,000人次,需要資金支持服務及運作。
• 希望能邀請各界人士協助專業技能如:市場及推廣、公關及宣傳、管理及發展、人力資源方面的專業技能。
Top 3 challenges:
• Lack of stable source of income to maintain operation of the organization.
• Suspension and cancellation of services and programmes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Facing potential loss and withdrawal of participants of our companies of the Uniformed Group Section due to class suspension.
• 機構缺乏穩定的收入來源。
• 疫情如持續將影響服務未能適切提供予參加者。
• 制服團隊分隊停止集隊將近半年,復隊後可能會面對隊員的流失。
Impact on beneficiaries:
• Foster children’s cultivation of positive values; Nurture teenagers attitudes of Servant Leaders.
• 教導兒童從少建立良好品格,栽培年青人建立僕人領袖的心志。
